Customised garden bench cover - 100% Waterproof protection for wooden & patio benches
A high-quality bench is often the centrepiece of the garden or patio. However, constant UV radiation, rain and snow can quickly cause fine wood to turn grey, crack or metal to rust. With a customised garden bench cover, you can put an end to time-consuming sanding and painting in spring. Our rectangular made-to-measure cover covers your furniture like a protective second skin and reliably protects it from all weather conditions.
Customised protection for wooden, patio and park benches
No matter where your favourite spot is, this rectangular protective cover is the ideal solution for:
- Wooden benches & teak furniture: Protects sensitive natural materials from swelling due to moisture and prevents unsightly water stains.
- Patio benches & lounge benches: Perfect for benches with seat cushions. You no longer have to frantically clear the cushions into the house during a summer storm!
- Solid park benches: The tear-resistant material also offers durable protection against bird droppings, tree resin and autumn leaves for heavy, fixed benches outdoors.
Quality: Uncompromisingly waterproof (Oxford 600D)
Water often remains on a flat seat surface. That's why simple fabric is not enough here.
- 100% Waterproof: We use extremely hard-wearing Oxford polyester 600D.
- Sealed seams: All seams are specially taped (sealed) on the inside. Even if it rains continuously for days on end, not a drop will get onto your wood or upholstery.
Configuration & The right mounting
Measure the maximum width, depth and height of your bench. As this cover has a rectangular shape (box), simply measure your piece of furniture as an imaginary cuboid. Then select the appropriate bottom end:
- Rubber cord all round: The most comfortable choice for the patio bench. Automatically retracts at the bottom and can be removed in a flash for everyday use.
- Eyelets (with reinforced hem): The professional solution for free-standing park benches or storm-proof wintering in the garden.
Expert tip for benches with sloping backrests!
When measuring the depth, pay attention to the backrest! Many garden benches are inclined backwards. Measure from the foremost edge of the seat to the rearmost point of the backrest. Allow an allowance of approx. 2 to 3 cm for all measurements. This makes it easy to cover the bonnet and allows the wood to breathe underneath.
Advantages of the customised garden bench cover
- Customised fit: no flapping, no protruding edges. The rectangular cover fits exactly to the dimensions of your garden or wooden bench.
- 100% Tight (taped seams): Taped seams guarantee that neither rainwater nor melting snow can penetrate.
- Year-round protection: Protects against moisture, UV radiation, dirt and frost.
- Premium quality Made in EU: Made from extremely tear-resistant 600D Oxford polyester. Durable, robust and with short delivery times.
FAQ +
My bench has a high, sloping backrest and lower armrests. How do I measure this for this rectangular cover?
Imagine a square box into which your bench fits exactly. Measure the highest point (usually the upper edge of the backrest), the maximum width (over the armrests) and the maximum depth (from the foremost point of the seat to the rearmost slope of the backrest).
Can my wooden bench get mouldy under the cover?
Wood must be able to breathe. This is precisely why we recommend always adding 2 to 3 cm of clearance in the configurator. This means that the tarpaulin is not extremely tight against the wood, the air can circulate and the formation of condensation (and therefore mould) is effectively prevented.
Will my seat cushions on the patio bench stay dry?
Thanks to the robust Oxford 600D material and the specially sealed (taped) seams, the cover is 100 % waterproof. You can easily leave your cushions under the cover on the bench in summer.
Is the material tear-resistant enough for rough wood?
Absolutely. We manufacture your customised cover from heavy Oxford 600D polyester. This material is significantly thicker and more resistant than cheap DIY store films and can easily withstand the rough edges of a solid park bench or rustic wooden bench.
